Booking and Payments

How do I book a yacht?

Search for a yacht, check its availability in the calendar, and click “Book”. The system will guide you through an intuitive online payment process.

What payment methods are available?

We accept popular online payment methods, including credit cards, bank transfers, and local systems such as BLIK (in Poland).

Do I have to pay right away?

Typically, you pay a deposit (usually 30–50%) when booking, and you pay the remaining amount a few weeks before the charter begins. The exception is last-minute or short-term bookings (e.g. hourly), where payment of the full amount upfront may be required. Detailed payment terms and deadlines are always provided in the offer and in the booking confirmation.

Can I pay only the deposit and the rest later?

Yes, that’s our standard. A deposit (usually 30–50%) is typically required, and the remaining balance is paid later, according to the charter terms. However, keep in mind that for last-minute bookings or short-term charters (e.g. day/hourly), the provider may require payment of the full amount at the time of booking. Details are always included in the specific offer.

Is last-minute booking possible?

Yes — if the yacht is available in the calendar, you can book it. However, we recommend contacting the platform promptly to confirm the pick-up logistics.

Can I rent a yacht for less than a week?

In addition to the most common weekly rentals, short-term (overnight/day) and hourly rental options are also available, depending on the specific offer.

Can I choose a specific port for yacht pick-up or return?

Typically, pick-up and return take place at the yacht’s home port, but some offers include a “one-way charter” option (for an additional fee).

Documents and Requirements

An identity document is required, and if you plan to operate the yacht yourself – a sailing or motorboat license, in accordance with the regulations applicable in the given waters. Please note that in some countries (e.g. Croatia) a VHF radio license is also required — all detailed requirements are always listed in the offer description.
When picking up the yacht, you will need an identity document and a copy of the charter agreement, as well as the original license (if you are operating the yacht yourself).
Yes, this is possible in some cases. You can rent a yacht with a professional skipper who holds all required qualifications. Also note that many smaller motorboats and vessels can be operated without a license under local regulations — this information is always stated in the offer description.
If you rent a yacht without a skipper, you should have the appropriate experience and a valid license allowing you to operate a vessel of the given size.
On the Masurian Lakes (inland waters), the requirements depend on the boat length and engine power, while on the Baltic Sea (internal maritime waters) they depend on the vessel size and distance from the shore (details are provided in the offer).

Insurance and Security Deposit

It is an additional insurance that in some cases covers the loss of the security deposit in the event of yacht damage, and in other cases releases you from the obligation to pay the full deposit.
You can independently purchase cancellation cost insurance from our partner. Its scope and conditions are available on the partner’s website or in the booking details.
Every yacht is covered by third-party liability insurance and Hull & Machinery (Casco) insurance, protecting the owner against damages to third parties and damage to the yacht itself. Please note that this is the owner’s private insurance and does not release the Charterer from liability for damages. We strongly recommend purchasing additional insurance to protect the Charterer against unforeseen events.
Yes, you can purchase deposit insurance, which is recommended to reduce your financial liability in the event of minor damages.

Crew and Skipper

Many providers allow you to choose a skipper from a list of recommended professionals, or you may suggest your own if they meet the provider’s requirements. However, this is always subject to the provider’s approval.
Most skippers are professionals who speak English, and in offers on the Polish market – of course – Polish.
Yes, the skipper is a member of the crew, and it is the Charterer’s responsibility to provide meals for them during the voyage.
The maximum number of people is always stated in the yacht specifications and cannot be exceeded for safety and legal reasons.

Additional and Operating Costs

It depends. As a rule, fuel is not included in the price and is treated as an operating cost covered by you (you pick up the yacht with a full tank and return it full). However, some providers offer fuel included in the price — this information is always clearly stated in the offer description.
Port and marina fees are additional costs that you cover yourself during the voyage (payable directly in ports).
The cost depends on the type of yacht, fuel prices, and engine usage, but estimated costs can be found in the yacht description or obtained from the provider.

Route Planning and Logistics

Yes, if you operate the yacht yourself, you have full freedom to plan the route, as long as it stays within the agreed sailing area.
Yes, the platform offers inspiration and recommended routes to help you discover the most interesting places (in the future we plan AI-optimized routes).
Of course — staying overnight in a marina is standard practice and provides access to electricity, water, and sanitary facilities.
Yes, we actively promote eco-friendly vessels (e.g. hybrid-powered or solar-equipped), which are marked with a green leaf.

Family and Passengers

Many yachts are suitable for children, but we recommend choosing vessels with safety nets and bringing additional life jackets for younger passengers.
Yes, this is possible, but it should be consulted with the provider and you should ensure that you have appropriate safety equipment.
The number of sleeping berths is always listed in the yacht specifications and represents the maximum number of people allowed to stay on board overnight.

Changes and Support

The possibility of changing the date depends on the provider’s policy, yacht availability, and how far in advance the change is requested.
Cancellation conditions are specified in the charter agreement and usually involve fees, unless you have cancellation cost insurance.
In case of bad weather, the skipper (yours or hired) decides on route changes. Cancelling a charter due to weather conditions is usually not possible.
You will receive a contact number for the local operator or our 24/7 support hotline, which will quickly assist you in any situation.
